I can't write in German but I wanted to ask you guys/ladies if you have any seggestions that I could use to make my site more friendly for people who only read German.

I've got more free content on my site then most pay sites do but it's not user friendly for Germans... Got any suggestions?

German law requires all porn to be behind an AVS system, you can't even see a nipple in Germany unless an AVS system has already verified your age so your site is illegal in Germany. That might be a problem if you are targeting German traffic.

@Cartman - that´s only a problem for german webmasters, not for german surfers. If you are not a german webmaster you will have no problems.

Hey NastyJack, looking at the information supplied by chris and Cartman, all you really need to do is to have a German copy of your site, linked from the front page.

You don't need to copy your whole site to start, just a little should be sufficient to give you an indication of the potential traffic from german speaking countries and germans located overseas.

You could easily get your text translated to experiment with this.
