404 lost traffic - what to do ?

i get a bunch of 404 hits to my site
it must be old galleries the search engines picked up
but i deleted them since.

how do i not loose this traffic ?

Make yourself a nice full page add , and get your hosting company to put it on the server so all your 404 traffic ends up there 8)

put in your htaccess ErrorDokument 404 http://youpage.com/....
and do the same with 403 and waht ever you want. :lol:
