I own several tgp's and have tryed most of the scripts. I would tell you that your choice in scripts should be determined by the level of commitment you are going to give to the tgp business as the differant scripts really have huge differances. You cannot compare "Brownie" to AGP ! I use both of these I will be changing all to "Brownie" as I go along.
Here are my choices.
1)Brownie- I feel the only way to go as i am in this to stay. And you can lease (to own) the script for only $50 a month.

2) TGP Devil- Very good script, affordable it is written in perl and uses MySQL database. Faster than AGP and has alot more features than AGP.

3) AGP the best for the dollar, but I always say you get what you pay for.
They are making inprovements and I use this on some of my sites, I have found that I wished I would have used "Brownie" on all. You will find that AGP is pretty slow once your site grows and then it really is hard to change scripts. But for $55 bucks it's a bargin.

Advanjced does everything ones like brownie does, but way more [such as archive scanning to keep your archives up to date etc]

also, it costs $600 US less! :)
