I will add hosted galleries at some point, I just wanted to get some submitted content first...

Whenever I do choose to utilize a free hosted gallery from a sponsor, I still re-create the page on my own server so I can add recips, etc, as necessary, or make other minor changes in accordance with TGP and MGP owner's individual rules.

Bandwidth is not an issue for me, as I own a hosting company.

I have just learned that it is often better to host your own doorway page(s) to sponsors rather than link to them directly from gallery pages.
